... it is available to purchase it from. The tin describes it as 'lip therapy' and for me thats what it is. It contains Aloe Vera for extra conditioning and has a hint of apple flavouring to it. When applied the product made my lips feel really moisturised and instantly relieved the 'chapped' feeling. What I liked about this product is that it didn't leave my lips feeling too greasy, as other similar products can. I have owned this product for over a year now and have only used about 5% of it so a little really does ...more

We're coming to that miserable time of year again where dull skin and chapped lips seem to invade me! I only tend to suffer from chapped lips for a few weeks a year so don't tend to buy expensive vaseline products to keep in, I just like to have something cheap and cheerful in for such occasions. I was brought as a stocking filler last year 'The Little Green Tin' which is a small round tin of petroleum jelly. This product is only 99p to buy and is so compact it will fit well into any handbag compartment. This product is exclusive to Superdrug so this is obviously the only place it is available to purchase it from. The tin describes it ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Small tin, big effects (432 words)

I literally have to carry lip salve around with me everywhere I go, as after about 20 minutes of being outside I have to apply, then carry on applying all day through. Because I get through so much of the stuff I like to get cheaper stuff for using around the house perhaps and lip glosses for wearing outside then house when I need a bit of colour. I found this lurking at the bottom of an old make up bag, possibly purchased a year or so ago. Packaging= A little olive green coloured tin, quite funky and cute looking. Sometimes hard to prise apart the two halves of the tin but after 2 goes it twists off, better than having a loose lid ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Superdrug The little Green Tin Aloe Vera: Don't get Lippy with me. (690 words)

We have a large Superdrug store and they often seem to have very good offers, the Superdrug marketing team seem to know their onions and they often place large posters on the front windows so that they are one of the very first things to catch your eye. But it still pays to shop around so I always seem to do a price comparison between Superdrug and Wilkinson's before purchasing. In the warmer weather I rarely need to use lip balm but as soon as the temperature begins to drop then the skin on my lips seems to start chapping and that makes lipstick/lip gloss look unsightly because the colour bleeds into the rough skin. The Little Green tin is not ...  Read the complete review

Lip balm is an important part of my life. Everywhere I go I carry it with me, everywhere think I might be I always have it near: In my bedroom, kitchen, lounge, car, handbag.......everywhere! I really need it, and therefore I get through quite a lot of it. I always used to buy the small pots of Vaseline as it is always reliable and never lets me down, but on a recent trip to Superdrug, I came across their own equivalent: " little tins". The little tin come in pink (with SPF), Blue (original) and Green with aloe vera which is my personal favourite, and hence the subject of this review. The little green tin comes in a pot ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Superdrug The little Green Tin Aloe Vera: Little Green Tin: A Vaseline Contender? (241 words)

The Winter winds really affect my lips, so I usually get through tins and tins of vaseline! This Winter its been harder to track down, so I decided to give something else a try. Superdrug's 'The Little Green Tin - Aloe Vera' caught my eye due to the bright, but not sickly, green colour,so I bought it! Getting it home, I was pleasantly surprised by the mild, slightly sweet smell, and even though it was freezing out, the balm was easy to apply and I didn't have loads left on my finger! It instantly made my lips feel soft and sexy, and gave them a sophisticated shine without it being obvious I was wearing balm. It looks just like a gloss! The next test ...  Read the complete review
