Advantages: Great little wipes of a decent size and they work

Disadvantages: Not nice soft cloths

Firstly I must point out that i'm not reviewing this product. It is similar packaging but I'm reviewing the ordinary wipes. I did request a link to be added but I've been directed to this one on two occasions now so here it is with no further messeing about.

So to be clear I am reviewing Tesco's Value Wipes!

I am a messy devil. I'm always getting dirty hands through my constant snacking habits! I drop food and get dirty hands like kids do! So when I saw these on the shelf as I looked around basically for something to buy whilst browsing in Tesco's I spotted these and thought they were great for popping in my handbag to freshen up with and at the price they are and if good I could regularly use them. As a smoker I do like to wipe my hands over regular and things so I popped a couple of bags in my basket!

The Packaging...

Long, white, oblong packet with red on it and a dash on navy. It is obvious on the eyes it's is an economy product. It has a see through plastic piece on it that is resealable and opens and closes to dispense the product out of the plastic packaging. On the front I'm told they are Tesco's Value Wipes and then near the bottom I'm told there are a 100 wipes in it. On the back I'm told a bit about the product, ingredients, Tesco's promise and contact details, directions for use, warnings, and told once opened use within 6 months and then there's a barcode that gets scanned at checkout!

As I said very basic packaging indeed but it's ok and does the job. It's an ok size to pop in a bag etc and not heavy and the resealable plastic really is good, even though I use these alot and am constantly dragging damp wipes through the hole it has stayed sticky and my wipes after 4 months (so far) haven't dried up at all.

About The Product....

Tesco Value Wipes are ideal for baby and all the family. They contain mild cleansing agents and are ideal for use in the home or when travelling.

Directions For Use....

Peel back label and use wipes as required. Ensure the label is resealed after use to keep the wipes moist.

Warnings....

Keep out of the reach of children.
Avoid contact with eyes
Do not flush down the toilet

The Wipe....

Oblong white and perforated looking. It is very thin and not a smooth looking wipe and you can almost see through it. Deceptively strong though you can tear it apart but only if you pull it hard. Never has it torn on me in use. Now I use them on a hot day to wipe my hands and freshen up my feet. It doesn't say not to use them in shall we say intimate areas? lol well I've done that as well and no issues there either!

Smell wise they are very light and fresh smelling. I'd say they have a very delicate baby smell to them if anything but it really is a very light none offensive smell that anyone could use. When you use the wipe you can on first contact with the skin feel the dampness and occasionally, usually when getting to the bottom of the pack they are a wee bit more moist. They are really adequately damp and occasionally you can see the wet liquid on the hands and a few white bubbles but they just vanish into the skin and they don't dry skin out.

A little bit sticky at times particularly on hands but they do clean. I was covered in caramel the other day and it took it of and cleaned me off. They also remove nasty niffs and I find I only need one wipe to adequately do any job, so economical they really are!

Am I fan? Yes for the money. There are of course better wipes and these are not really of the highest quality you can feel that but for the price they are excellent. You just can't compare them to the the likes of Johnson's baby wipes cos with these you pay for the quality your receive. These are just a cheap solution that work. After using them I smell sweeter and do feel a tad moisturised and as I said earlier I can use as many as I like without worrying about wasting loads of money so for ease of use they really are great! Do bare in mind these are not baby wipes and I personally would say they rubbish for babies bums etc as they just have very little substance to them but little hands and faces are fine though I used them on my face once and they made my face so tight I vowed never to do it again so they not an adequate make-up remover either, they are simply a wipe!

Ingredients (important to some of you I'm sure!)

Aqua, pottasium sorbate, disodium EDTA, propylene glycol, phenoxyothanol, cetearyl isononanoate, parfum.

39p a packet only in Tesco's.

Summary: A great little bargain!
