My usual moisturisers cost around £15 for 30ml but since I lost my job and became a poor student they are no longer an option. Two weeks ago I used the last of my supply of 'the posh stuff' so I headed to Tesco to source a cheaper alternative. I saw many creams at various prices and spent around 5 mins trying to figure out what to try. Then I noticed Tesco's very own moisturiser.... at 72p per 150 ml..... What????? Is it even possible to make a cream that cheap? It claimed to contain Vitamin E and be suitable for all skin types so couldn't be that bad. I've been using this range of moisturisers for about a year now. The packaging is very basic being white or clear plastic tubes or pots with a fairly standard stick on label. This is however, the only sign that this is a budget product. The actual moisturiser inside the pots is in my opinion of a very good quality. Both the night and day cream are a lovely creamy consistancy and they rub into my skin smoothly and easily. You can tell straight away though that the skin has been moisturised as it instantly feels smooth and hydrated. There is no sticky residue at all. Often with more expensive brands I've found that there can be a sticky thin layer of cream on ... Read the complete review
