... drastically reduce their prices to keep customers. I think this is especially crucial in times of the credit crunch! The cream is a quite thick cream that is easily absorbed and leaves no greasy residue behind on the hands like some cheaper hand creams can. It smells really strong of almonds, my friend thinks its too overpowering but i think its lovely. It also contains shea butter and when i rub it into my hands, they feel like silk and like a perfume, the almond scent lingers on my hands for a few hours or so. I h...more

I seem to go through quite a bit of handcream due to the fact that the handwash in our toilets at work seems to really dry my hands out, and I can't stand the way they feel after I have washed them at work! After being recently very disappointed with the Asda's own handcream I was keeping an eye out for a different handcream to buy. I was in the Body Shop as I had some vouchers to use and there was a sale on, whilst I was in the queue I noticed this handcream and made a grab for it just before I was served. This was my first mistake, little did I know this 100ml tube of hand & nail cream was going to come to £7.80! It was my own fault for not checking the ...  Read the complete review

**** Introduction **** I have just taken a part time job helping out in a friends cleaning company, this is only for eight weeks as I am covering for one of the girls who has gone off to have a baby. Even through this is only for eight week and a few hours an evening, my hands and nails have become very dry and itchy, my nails have also began to snap and peel, as my hand are in water and chemicals all of the time. So my friend recommended that we hit the shops and buy some hand cream on her naturally, as I am the one doing her a favour after all. Anyway as I have become a bit of a body shop queen we headed straight ...  Read the complete review

I love cosmetics and toiletries as i am a typical girly girl and i discovered The Body Shop only properly about a year ago. I had always walked past it in the street and never bothered going near it. I found myself on The Body Shop website one day and decided to order a few things. One of these was the Love Your Body loyalty card. It gives 10% off all purchases for a year but the main reason i ordered it was because i got The Body Shops Almond daily hand and nail cream free with it. I have since recieved another tube of this as a present and completely love it! Ill have to admit that i am not normally the type of person who ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Almond for my hands (260 words)

Price: £7.80 From: The Body Shop For: Intense moisturisation for velvety-soft hands The packaging is quite nice but not really up to the usual high quality look and feel of most other Body Shop products. It's a simple squeezy tube with a flip top lid which is easy to open and fastens securely. It's easy to squeeze out just the right amount. It's a nice thick cream with a subtle almond scent. It feels smooth and creamy on the skin, and though it's quite rich and feels heavy when first applied to the skin, it sinks in really quickly without leaving behind any greasy residue. It leaves the hands feeling really soft and smooth, but ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The Body Shop - Almond Daily Hand and nail Cream: Nice but not worth the price.. (296 words)

****The Body Shop - Almond Daily Hand and nail Cream **** My hands always get really dry so when i got this free from the body shop because i spent more than £35 i was more than happy to try it out. **Body shop** I love body shop products!!!I don't think i have ever tried anything bad from them- they sell high quality goods at okay prices. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for and their stuff is great. **Packaging** This is a squueezy tube that sits on the lid-like a lot of similar products. The name of the product is on the front and the packaging is a beige/brown colour. It doesn't really stick out at all and i would ...  Read the complete review
