Advantages: Has hydrated my skin, hands and nails.
Disadvantages: nothing, it is worth every penny.
**** Introduction ****
I have just taken a part time job helping out in a friends cleaning company, this is only for eight weeks as I am covering for one of the girls who has gone off to have a baby.
Even through this is only for eight week and a few hours an evening, my hands and nails have become very dry and itchy, my nails have also began to snap and peel, as my hand are in water and chemicals all of the time.
So my friend recommended that we hit the shops and buy some hand cream on her naturally, as I am the one doing her a favour after all.
Anyway as I have become a bit of a body shop queen we headed straight there.
I had heard many good reports that the hemp hand cream was very good but after trying it i thought that it was very greasy and it would be very difficult to carry on working with it, so settled for this Almond hand and nail cream.
**** The Almond hand and nail cream ****
This comes in 100ml plastic tube with a flip top cap, which allows to to squeeze small amounts of cream out at a time, the handy design of the tube also allows you to stand the cream up on its cap and therefore allows you to get every last bit of cream out of the tube.
The cream itself is light beige in colour and rather runny when it is first emitted from the tube, but after it is applied to you hands and nails it is absorbed very quickly.
I only apply a small 5p size amount on each hand, this is all I need to get the desired effect and it really is working well for me.
If anything I am becoming completely addicted to this cream as I love almonds and the smell is so nice it is good enough to eat, i reminds me of marzipan which is something I love so the cream has gone down perfectly with me.
This cost £8.50 a tube which is excessive but in my opinion worth the money as it also takes care of me nails, where else could I buy a hand cream, nails hardener and cuticle oil for that price.
The best thing about this is the fact that it is suitable for all skin types.
**** My Views ****
On first impressions I thought this was going to be very greasy but within a few seconds my skin absorbed it nicely, leaving my hands feeling refreshed and soft.
after a few days of use I started to notice a massive improvement in my nails too, they were no longer bending and splitting and my cuticles now look cared for and less cracked.
I highly recommend this cream for anyone suffering with dry hands, chipping, flacking or peeling nails and cracked cuticles. I promise within a week you will see a noticeable change in you skin, hands and nails.
Summary: Recommended for anyone who suffers with dry hands.
