Advantages: great for your skin

Disadvantages: expensive

I used to love body shop for it's ethical background, but more recently I have tried to cut out my purchases from there, and go somewhere like lush, because I disagree with the decisions made by their company in recent years.

This however remains one product that I will compromise my beliefs for, simply because it's so good.

The product comes in a nice fresh looking tub that is a light green (reminiscent of aloe) sort of colour with a screw top. It's practical because you can get a good scoop out to smother yourself with, but after use it can be hard to screw the lid back on with slippery aloe hands.

The packaging could be a little brighter, and it just seems to be covered in words which doesn't make it terribly eye catching nor unique.

I can forgive this though because of the actual contents. At £12.50, this certainly isn't cheap and you could buy a cheaper alternative no questions asked. Having said that, I do think you probably need less of this to hydrate your skin as it is quite thick and will go quite far. Using it all over every day I use one tub a month or maybe 3 weeks.

I do however have very dry skin, so it might be that you would only use one every two months! The moisturiser inside is a thick white (although looks a bit green like the tub in certain lights) and smells just like a regular moisturiser I suppose. Quite fresh, nothing flowery. It definitely doesn't have a tacky smell to it at all.

This is a high quality product and I would recommend it to anybody looking to replenish their skin somewhat. In this cold whether it is especially important to look after yourself, so why not try this one next time?

Summary: an excellent way to moisturise your skin.
