Advantages: Great for sensitive skin, really soothing and moisturising, NOT OILY!!

Disadvantages: Can't fault the cream but the packaging is a bit boring.

I love trying out all manner of products, I just can't help myself so when a small 15ml pot of this came in a free gift bag I received because of ordering products totalling over £25.00 I had to give it a try. I say free it wasn't that is a lie, it cost me £5.00 and had this small pot, a pot the same size of the day cream, a sample size mascara, small bottles of Moringa shower gel, Aqua lily perfume and body lotion as well as tub of Moringa body butter (that costs £5.00 on its own!) all in a pretty little makeup bag, BARGAIN!

I have used the day cream before and it is ok, especially good when my skin is feeling dry and sore, as it doesn't sting when applied. As I was quite pleased with the day cream I thought this would be pretty good too. I should explain my skin type as this is obviously relevant to any results I found with this night cream.
My skin is complicated, like me! One day it is one thing and the next it has changed its mind! I have combination skin, I am prone to hormonal breakouts (which at the age of 28 I thought I would have grown out of by now, but no luck there!) I can get quite dry skin at times, even in the areas where my skin tends to be more greasy and when I am exposed to the elements my skin can become quite sore. By elements I mean the wind more than the sun but on the RARE occasions that I have caught the sun this year I have always used the Aloe range of creams for a few days and found it helped my skin an awful lot, but I was not burnt.

As you would expect I used this cream at night as it is after all a night cream! After cleansing and toning I applied a very small amount of this rich cream, I found that the minimum I could use to smooth all over my face was plenty.

It is white, has nearly no scent at all and is amazingly thick and has a very thick texture, think extra thick mayonnaise, you can shake the pot and even turn it upside down and this cream with not move let alone spill out.

I found that this cream wasn't what I expected. I thought it would be really greasy and just feel like an oil slick on my skin but I was wrong! There, I don't mind admitting that from time to time! This is not like most night creams, it has a slightly dry texture to it that sinks straight into the skin. It doesn't leave that tell tale shine on your skin, just a soft sheen.

I was shocked by just how much I liked this cream, most day creams I find too heavy and oily, and as for night creams, I never usually bother as they can be far too heavy and make me spotty, this is a revelation for me!

I liked this little pot so much that I finished it and found myself wanting more, I have since bought a pot! This is my new best friend! My skin feels fantastic and I have used this every night for the last three weeks. It doesn't give me spots just soft skin.

This comes in simple screw top pale green pots, nothing pretty but functional. The pots contain 50ml and cost £10.00, I am usually a bit peeved at paying that sort of price but where I have found this to be such a good quality product I really can't c0omplain!

This is specifically formulated for sensitive skin but that doesn't mean that you can't use it if you have normal skin. The only skin types I wouldn't recommend it to those with very dry skin and very oily, they should opt for something designed for that skin type.

Aloe is a well known product used in sensitive skin products, it has soothing properties as well as being very moisturising. In this product there are also Shea butter and Sesame oils to add to the moisturising effects.

I have to recommend this product, how could I not when a small sample pot made me go out and buy a full size pot?!

The Body Shop does a whole range of Aloe products for sensitive skin, I have tried several and always find them to be very gentle and they are also fantastic for both sexes where they have hardly any scent to them.

The Body Shop is involved with many charities and foundations, information on these can be found through links on their website. None of their products are tested on animals. They also run their own version of fair trade, which they call community trade, they pay fair prices to farmers of the ingredients they buy. Details of their community trade programme can also be found on their website.

The website is very user friendly and means not only can you buy online (good P&P charges and fast delivery) but you can also find out more about their products and find out where your local store is situated.
