Advantages: Feels lovely and thick going on, not too expensive

Disadvantages: Doesn't smell of anything so not really a treat to use

A couple of months ago the Body Shop were running a special deal where you could get a small evening bag stuffed full of small-sized versions of their products for £10. I ordered this bag online and recieved their Aloe Soothing Night Cream inside.

The Aloe Soothing Night Cream comes in a plastic jar. The jar is rather plain looking with the Body Shop logo on it and the name of the product written on it in English and in French. This night cream says it is meant for sensitive skin - when I saw it I thought it might be perfect for me. My skin is sensitive, dry as well, and I have generally responded well to creams that contain aloe.

To apply the night cream you unscrew the lid of the jar and scoop a bit of the cream out with your fingers. As I have said many times about products such as these, I don't think this is a terribly sanitary way of getting to the cream and would prefer a pump or a tube, but no matter. You spread the cream onto clean skin just before bedtime.

This cream doesn't really have much of a scent at all. The texture is thick like cold cream, and it glides onto my face very easily. It feels a bit heavy when it has been applies but quite soon it sinks into my skin, leaving it soft and moisturised. In the morning after using this, I always wake up to soft, supple skin.

This product is currently on sale at the body shop for £7.80 for 50 ml - the regular price is £9.75. Especially if you can find this on sale, I would say go for it if you have dry, sensitive skin like mine. This is a quality product that works better than most department store night creams as a much better price.

Summary: Get this for dry, sensitive skin
