I have been using the Body Shop's Face Protector for a long time now and the 100ml tube has lasted me as I carefully use it every now and then to help keep my skin in great condition. It really works and is enriched with Peruvian maca root. This helps boost the skin vitality and makes it firm and soothes it too. I have found this worked very well as my face feels a lot firmer and smoother after using this.

It also contains community trade nut oil from Brazil, which is the main ingredient that helps to moisturise your skin without it feeling greasy - the cream is very absorbent so no white marks are left for more than a few seconds when rubbing it in. It also contains sunscreens to prevent UVA and UVB light damaging the skin - equal to factor 15 sun cream.

It comes in a blue plastic tube with the Body Shop logo on the top left. Below it says 'For Men, Maca Root, Energetic, Face Protector' and the description reads 'Moisturises and helps skin feel firmer enriched with Peruvian maca root'. It has a modern and simple design and is only available from the body shop or online. It comes at a hefty price of £9.75, but it's worth it as the product works excellently and is natural.

The cream has a white appearance but it may build up around the cap as a yellow hardened substance, but this precious stuff can still be used after giving it a good rub and rubbing it into your skin. It has a very natural and fresh smell, which is ever so slightly masculine. I'd really recommend it as it's a great product and works well. It is easy on your face after a shave and leaves it feeling a lot firmer and moisturised without feeling greasy. The only bad thing is that it seems to mask your face and make it hot after you apply it but it smells wonderful and leaves you feeling fresh and invigorated.
