Advantages: Easy to apply/rinse, smell, texture, Ethical
Disadvantages: Expensive
This product, which I notice has since been updated quite largly by The Body Shop, is the only face wash I have used now for about 2 years or so, the updated version is a much more attractive dark blue colour, it comes in a large size which usually lasts me around about a month and I use it every morning and every evening in usualy quantities, although I do lower them towards the end of the month as it starts running out!
This is available from all Body Shop...um, shops, it can be quite quite obviously in the small mens sections they usually have in The Body Shop, for the store is obviously more focussed on women and cosmetics, it is also usually in a 'buy 3, get £5 off' deal, which is useful for me as this is the only stuff I usually buy from the body shop so it allows me to purchase a large amount of it, for relativly cheap and last a long time.
Now, the problem with this product is the cost, I believe up until 2 months or so ago the cost for 125ml, which as I say lasts me a month, was around about £5.70, all of a sudden it has now shot up to over £7 per product, fortunatly I do have a Body Shop card (which costs £10 I think) which not only gets me 10% discount but also 'stamps' towards a £5 and £10 free gift the longer I use it, this face wash being the only thing I buy means I get not only the £5 deal, not only the 10% off but every now and then a free purchase or 2.
The face wash itself is obviously ethical and environmentally friendly, it used to have extracts of seaweed althogh this new version have extracts of maca root with Brazil nut oil from Peru giving it...well, I don't know what reall but it certainly does the job. This new face wash I believe is much better, and a lot better smelling than the previous version for men, as like the last one this is soap free for those who have sensitive skin and it's extrmeley easy to apply and rinse off, it usually takes me around 30 seconds to a minute to apply, leave and then rinse off completley and my skin afterwards feels hugely cleaner and softer which has never happend before really the texture is also rather pleasant, it's not a creamy texture or thick it's rather soft and almost like an oil you'd use in some sort of massge...until it gets wet and bubbles of course, I have rather sensitive skin and this is by far the best face wash I have used.
Basically, for anyone who is willing to pay (fortunatly with my Body Shop card I can) this is a brilliant, soap free, gentle, natural and ethical product which will, or should, make your skin feeling brilliant.
Summary: Best face wash i've ever used
