My mum's friend works at the Body Shop and is always getting reducing stuff from there for us. 10 months ago, her mum gave me this. Up until then, I'd been using the Peppermint Foot Lotion from the Body Shop. I thought I'd give it a whirl and try this instead. I find it very important to use hand and foot lotions as I work as waitress in a restaurant. I'm either washing lots of pan and pots or I'm clearing tables and serving food to the customers. As this is a Body Shop product, you can only buy it at the Body Shop. It costs about £6 for a bottle of 250ml, which I don't think is really expensive as it lasts for ages. Most of us have heard of The Body Shop. It was set up by Anita Roddick and sells items like shampoos, skin products, soaps and make up. It is against animal testing, supports community trade and prides itself on being an ethical business. Since 1990, it has been helping Children on the Edge – a charity set up by Roddick to help Romanian orphans. So it’s a pretty good business then, but what about its products? I have not always been a big fan of the Body Shop products as when I was younger (so much younger than today!) I used to suffer with eczema and very few products were suitable for my highly sensitive skin. It is only recently that I decided to try their products out once again and one of those is the Juice It "Strawberry & Red Berries Exfoliating Scrub". I decided to try this out since I needed to find an animal friendly exfoliater that did not irritate my skin.
