I love Christmas and all the body Shop treats I can sometimes get. This year was a good year in the Body Shop stakes for presents, and one of my little treasures was the pink grapefruit lip butter. Previous to Christmas I had read a couple of reviews about the lip butter on here and wanted to try them out for myself. I should add here that this present was one to myself so it was pre Christmas and I have had over a week to test the product out to the max already. Packaged in a pot not much bigger than a 50p piece, the lip butter costs £5 for a mere 10ml. It's a good job I had heard a lot of good things about the butter otherwise I don't think I would ... I read a review the other day here on Dooyoo - of course - about The Body Shop Lip Butter. It was a very positive review and, since I use lip balm on a regular basis I thought that I ought to investigate. When I was next in town I went into our local branch of The Body Shop and found the lip butters on offer - normally £5 per pot they were offered at £8 for two. Well I am always up for a special offer so I chose the Pink Grapefruit and the Mango Lip Butters and paid my £8. We live in the West Shore at Llandudno so we have a sea breeze more often than not. Add that to the fact that I have to have our heating on most of the time during the winter as ... Read the complete review

This review is based on the Coconut Lip Butter as this is the only one I have tried but as I love the other Body Butters In sure I will love the other Lip Butters to. The Body Shop Lips Butters are really mini versions of the Body Butters made for the lips. The pots are 10ml and same design as the butters. They come in a variety of colours depending on what flavour (coconut is brown, pink grapefruit is pink etc) and on the top is a sticker with a picture of what kind it is. 10ml may not sound a lot but as you only need to use small amount one pot will last for ages. The two main ingredients which help moisturise your lips are shea butter and ... Read the complete review

I can only talk about the one lip butter that being the coconut one as that's the only one I have tried! Ive owned it ages but it last ages!! I have a 10ml pot I keep next to my bed to use at night and the reason I'm doing this review is cos I actually have it on now. Today is the first day in ages I've felt like I've had to use it. My bottom lip feels like I've lost some skin though I've no idea how I have but it is sore. If it wasn't for this product I'd use nothing on it cos most things would make it feel more sore but this I trust. It soft and moist without feeling like an oil slick! Its moisturising and nourishing and ... Read the complete review

If you are looking for a product that will just make your lips soft and smooth, then you should probably go and buy a chapstick and save money. However, if you like things that smell nice, come in cute packaging and feel nice, then the Body Shop Lip Butter is for you. They are quite similar to the body butter but they taste a bit nicer (you dont want to taste body butter... trust me!). Lip butter is rich and buttery and keeps your lips soft all the time, especially during winter! Plus they come in lovely flavours to pick up your mood - my favourite is ... Read the complete review
