I brought this out of some vouchers I got for my birthday and think it's a brill lip butter even though it's a lot more expensive than other stuff I would buy to look after my lips. It has got the same sort of thick texture as the body butter from Body Shop and glides on smoothly. You have to make sure you don't put too much on your finger because if you do then you'll end up with loads of buttery blobs on your lips that feel proper greasy and look terrible. It smells very strong of mango and it's a lovely smell in this lip butter even though I think the mango smell is too strong on the body butter because when you're putting such a strong smelling ... I recently won a Body Shop hamper on a raffle at work (lucky me! expect more reviews of the contents shortly, lol!). It contained a lot of the Mango product range including this 10ml pot of lip butter, apparently it usually costs £4.85 for this product which seems a lot when a small pot of vaseline is around a pound. I have started running quite a lot and I tend to find that my lips are very dry by the end of my run, especially when its windy. So I decided to try out this lip butter instead of my usual vaseline and see how it fared. Firstly you will provbably be unsurprised to learn that it smells absolutely divine as most body shop products do! ... Read the complete review

I first tried this mango lip butter when some body brought me the tub as a gift amongst other things. I was surprised I liked it to be honest because to me the packaging looks a little bit naff but when I opened it I was really surprised because it smells lovely. The product is in a small orange and it contains 10 ml of the actual lip butter. When opening the tub you automatically get that exotic feeling because the smell hits you straight away. The lip butter can last ages as well on the tub its got the 12m that means you should throw it away if you still have 12 months after you have opened it. I mainly use mine when it's really warm or quite ... Read the complete review

I am a big fan of the Body Shop. I love their shower gels, scrubs, body butters...you name it, I've tried it. A couple of years ago a friend of mine started doing Body Shop At Home parties, so there was yet more opportunity to try new products! At one point I ordered the Cocoa Butter Moisturising Lip Care Stick, as I loved the rest of the range, but after a few uses I felt my lips were dry and getting a bit sore, so I switched back to my regular lip balm. A while later, my friend went travelling for several months and left me with her Body Shop party kit so I could keep it going for her. During the time that all this wonderful Body Shop stuff was sitting in my ... Read the complete review

When I was in town the other day I went into our local branch of The Body Shop and was tempted by the lip butters. I do love this particular product and felt like treating myself so I bought the Mango 'flavour' for £4.85. We live on the Great Orme at Llandudno so we have a sea breeze a lot of the time which ranges from a light waft to a howling gale! This makes my lips very dry and if there's one thing I can't stand it is my lips feeling dry - it really irritates me. Consequently I usually have a range of balms and butters around the house in various tubes and pots. Anyway back to my recent purchase of Body Shop Mango Lip Butter. The Lip ...
