Advantages: Moisturises, SPF 15, smells good

Disadvantages: Price, not mattifying

I bought this product for the summer due to the fact that I hate to wear sun cream on my face under makeup because it makes me break out. I was looking for a moisturiser that contained SPF and this one seemed like the perfect one because I already had products from the Bodyshop's seawead range and it would complete my skincare collection.

*Packaging*
Seaweed Mattifying Moisture Lotion comes in a 50ml tube with a flip-top lid. The tube is white with a blue sticker on giving us all the information we need to know. I like the fact that the tube stands on it lid because it means when there's not much of the product left, you can still squeeze it out.

*Using The Product*
All you have to do is squeeze the desired amount onto your fingers and massage gently into the skin. I find that the moisturiser spreads very well, meaning you don't need much to cover the whole face. I love using this moisture lotion because it smells lovely. I'm sure that's not the real scent of seaweed- I think a fragrance must have been added as well so make it smell natural but sweet, but it still smells divine.

*The Results*
This product claims it give moisture where needed, but still mattifies oily parts. For me it didn't really do that. It gave my skin a good moisturise which is not what I was hoping for, seeing as I have oily skin. The fact it made me look a bit shiny could have been because my skin is not combination like this product was designed for. (my skin would be more suited to the tea tree range). However, my skin wasn't as oily as it is with a normal moisturiser so I guess it works. Maybe the product is a little more oily because it has SPF in. After using this my skin is left very smooth and soft. It's not matte in any way, but is not TOO oily. This works as a great base for makeup.

*Conclusion*
The moisturiser doesn't really do what it claims, but for me I think it does work well. At £10.00 it is a little pricey seeing as you only get 50ml. I would probably buy the tea tree version for my oily skin, but it doesn't have SPF in it, so I'll probably try that one in the winter, and it's specially made for oily skin so it will be more suitable. I think that the Seaweed Mattifying Moisture Lotion is a good moisturiser if you want to protect your skin from the sun without using a heavy sun cream. I would buy this again because it doesn't leave my face as shiny as other creams do. I would recommend this to people who want to protect their skin.

Summary: Not mattifying, but still suprisingly good.
