I don't generally have very oily skin, but in the warm weather my skin starts to shine terribly after a couple of hours at work or in bars and clubs on nights out. When I'm on a night out I'm quite happy to just keep popping to the loo to powder my face, but I can't really do that at work! This in mind I decided to try to find something to keep my skin matte all through the day, and that's when I bought the body shop's Matte It primer. It costs £10 for a 25ml tube. I have combination skin and I love the matte look. Mattifying foundation works, but I hate needing to re-apply on a warm day. I've been using this product for years as a touch up to my make up and also worn alone over moisturised skin. The product is clear and has a very thick consistency. If you've ever used neutrogena concentrated hand cream it's like that, if not that description wont help much. When applying, a very little goes a long way. An amount the size of a lentil will cover your whole face, and it's very easy to spread along bare skin.
