If, like me, you find that you need to get rid of unsightly shine on your face then blotting papers are for you. The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil papers are the ones I use (and have used) day-in and day-out to keep me looking my best. So why use facial blotting papers? These are specially designed papers to help mattify the skin, ideal for when you are on the go and of particular use when wearing make-up (as it does not remove your powder and foundation in the same way as a face wipe). Why is it my t-zone gets so shiny? Why oh why? It doesn't look good, definitely doesn't feel good and must be dealt with... cue The Body Shop's Tea Tree Blotting Tissues... It's a simple concept really. Here's a small hand bag sized box of absorbent mini tissues to blot away the shine, they've got tea tree oil in them too to treat your skin with the well known bacteria blasting, spot fighting, problem skin saving oil. Simple! Do they work though? Yes and no really. You get 65 sheets in a box (which does fit very easily into even the smallest handbags) and they're £3.90 a box. I had never experienced problematic oily skin until I had a fringe cut into my hair and ever since then, my forehead has become akin to a chip pan causing much shininess and spots (booo!). I wasn't looking for anything particular to cure this as a wipe down with a tissue usually does a reasonable job (i'm really making myself sound attractive aren't I?!) but on wandering round the Body Shop one day I spotted these little beauties: Tea Tree Blotting Tissues. I'm a huge fan of Tea Tree oil and its healing qualities so figured I'd give these a go and see if they helped keep the oil at bay.
