The Body Shop - Tea Tree Oil Blemish Night Lotion

A couple of months ago, I suffered from a really bad breakout of spots that lasted for several weeks. Eventually, the spots reduced in size and started to fade, but left behind some red-purple marks. At first, I liberally applied witch hazel in the hope that this would shift the marks but this didn't work. I came across some reviews for this product here on DooYoo and was in two minds about whether to buy it as it was quite expensive and I have bought plenty of spot treatments in the past without any success whatsoever. This was one of those not-so-researched purchases. When I bought this product from the Body Shop it was newly launched, or so I was lead to believe, as there were no details of it on their website. I couldn't find any reviews online either. Yet I was still compelled to buy it - I'm glad I did. It's quite a unique treatment: not quite a moisturiser, not sure how you'd categorise it really but what I will say is that it's one thing I wouldn't be without. The Tea tree Oil Blemish Night Lotion by the body shop is another great product from The Body Shop. I do get the occasional spots on my face (a lot more before I started using the seaweed mattifying day cream). I read up about tea tree oil as I had heard that it has amazing herbal and medicinal properties. It is usually for very dry skin, but if this is not your skin type, this serum is the perfect solution for spots. What you do is, just target the actual area where there is a spot rather than applying all over the face. This totally dries the spot up before the morning and disappears by the end of the day.
