Doesnt work miricales! (The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Blemish Stick)

I have been clear skinned since leaving my teenage years behind me but after going on to some medication my skin became to get spots, not good! I tried every product out there but couldn't find something that worked. I had heard Tea tree oil was supposed to help spots and so decided to take a trip to the body shop. I left buying this Tea tree oil stick and began using it the next day.

Tea Tree Oil Blemish Stick from The Body Shop is used by dabbing a bit onto the blemish or spot and then the antibacterial in it gets to work and begins to reduce the spot. Well at least that's what was supposed to happen!

After the first use I felt like all I could smell around me was tea tree oil which although is quite minty also has the smell of a hospital about it and so it began to annoy me. Also I tended to put this on in the morning and it seemed to leave a coating over the blemish which during the day seemed to begin to flake away! Not a good look when your at work and it looks like your face is peeling.

It didn't produce the miracle cure I was hoping for but it did help reduce the spots slightly, but Im not sure the result I got was really worth spending my time and money on.

Of course this could just be because the medication I was on as causing the spots and so the tea tree oil could do nothing for me.

I personally feel if you're a person who may occasionally get the odd blemish its proberly perfect for you as it's a small tube which fits nicely into your pocket and can quickly be applied. However if you have bad acne then my advise don't bother buying this, as it doesn't work on anything other then a tiny pimple!

Summary: Works if you only have occasional spot
