Advantages: Works well to remove make-up and leaves skin silky smooth.
Disadvantages: The price.
****Introduction****
I was first introduced to this by my sister in law, when we went on holiday and I forgot my wash bag. You know its always the last thing to pack and I manged to forget it.
So for the week we were away I was using her cleanser and toner, this was the Body Shops Vitamin E brand.
*****The Cleanser*****
This comes in a pale pink 150ml bottle with a flip top cap, the cleanser comes out of a small hole at the top of the bottle and for me this is great as it ensure you do not disperse to much product at a time and it stop the cleanser leaking if ever you take it on holiday.
The cleanser itself is white with a very soft floral smell to it, once it has been applied and removed correctly you will feel instantly refreshed with nice clean face and unclogged pores.
Vitamin E cleanser is designed for all skin types so it can be used by anyone, i personally have very sensitive skin and this doe's not effect me in anyway.
****Application****
I personally use this as a make up remover as well, i remove my eye make in the first application and then using a cotton pad i will apply this a second time to ensure all of my make up is removed and my face is totally cleansed.
If i wear a lot of make up i will apply this with my hands and massage it in my face and neck, using circular motions. This is more vigorous that removing with cotton wool and ensures all of the make up is removed from my pores, therefore preventing spots or black heads.
Once you are happy that the cream has penetrated and loosened all of you make up, remove any excess cream that has not been absorbed with a cotton wool pad.
To finish I highly recommend you use the Vitamin E toner, applied with a cotton pad.
*****Price*****
When i first found out this was 8.50 a bottle i nearly hit the floor as it is very expensive, but after using it for that week I had to buy one as my skin looked and felt so much better.
You can buy this from any Body shop of online at www.bodyshop.co.uk or even www.Amazon.co.uk but you can expect to pay postage when buying on the internet.
****My Views****
I have never really been a huge fan of cleansing and toning on a daily basis but ever since i was introduced to this body shop toner, I have never looked back.
Yes it is a bit pricey but in my opinion it is worth every penny as this lasts for roughly six weeks, and that is being used every day. So parting with the money has not been to hard as it has worked wonders for my skin.
I would recommend this to anyone, even those with really sensitive skin.
Summary: Recommended to everyone who cleanses on a daily basis.
