Advantages: Rose fragrance and refreshing feeling
Disadvantages: Price
This is not a product I would have bought if it hadn't been part of a three for two offer when I happened to want two products. I just thought I'd try something different and I'm glad I did.
It lives in my handbag in hot weather because it is just so refreshing. On holiday in a hot country it can be all that keeps me going at times!
The promise on the bottle is that it protects, refreshes and moisturises skin and I feel it really does all three.
The push down spray action is really good and sprays a wonderfully fine mist onto your face (or wherever you choose to direct it). I have considered refilling it with water and using the mister for that because it would be refreshing but this mist does so much more than that. It is obviously watery but it feels so much thicker and like it is in fact moisturising the skin. It is actually a milky white in colour and looks kind of like a watered down moisturiser!
It contains vitamin E (funnily enough) which is an antioxidant and protects the skin. glycerin moisturises and a slight fragrance of rose-water refreshes and smells delicious. It really feels like it's looking after my skin as well as waking me up or cooling me down (or both!). If I spray this on over makeup I don't feel like the makeup is going to come off which is a plus because I feel sure if would with a more watery product. Somehow this just attaches itself to the skin and works wonders but is still really refreshing.
Another thing I really like about it is that it doesn't sting if it gets in the eyes - not something I'd do deliberately but if you're spraying something on your face it's bound to happen! Other similar products I've tried have stung and that's really not good. There is a bit of alcohol in this stuff but not enough to irritate. It just feels really gentle.
The packaging is possibly a bit of a let down with a rather boring little plastic bottle. However it is a nice shade of pale pink, the spritzer works really well and it's light and robust to carry around in a handbag. The lid stays put too which is nice because so many things have an annoying habit of losing their lids in the depths of a handbag never to be seen again - then you get whatever it is leaking everywhere. Well not with this - it clicks on nicely and there it stays!
My only real complaint is the price which is a bit painful! At £7 for a 100ml bottle it's definitely one to get when it's on offer. It does last for a very long time but it's still a lot for what it is.
So if you can find it cheap I'd really recommend it but I wouldn't fork out £7 for it!
Summary: Very, very nice but not £7 nice
