Advantages: Really refreshing, cheaper then a base primer.

Disadvantages: None really.

I bought this product because I was initially looking for a primer to go under my make up to keep my my make up in place all day. When I was at university I was on a Performing Arts course with a lot of practical classes and there was also a lot of time spent in hot and stuffy lecture theatres and classrooms. I found that by the afternoon all my make up had come off except my mascara and I thought it looked scruffy. So I went out to find a primer to keep my make up in place. The only ones I could really find were quite expensive so I went and asked in The Body Shop to ask if they did a primer and the lady said she didn't think so. Later that evening I was double checking on The Body Shop website when I came across this product and I noticed it said 'excellent for fixing make up'. So the next day I went out and bought some. I also noticed that the product had flower water in - which I had read can soften the look of your make up to avoid the 'too made up' look. So I was happy to pay the £6 for the product as other flower water face sprays I had seen were upwards of £20.

The first thing I noticed when I used the product was that it was very refreshing to use. The next day I spritzed some on after applying my make up and I must admit that my make up did seem to hold on for longer. I would advise keeping it in your bag and spritzing on throughout the day if you want your make to still be perfect after a full day. What I tend to do now is spray some on after applying my base and then again when I've finished the rest of my make up for the best effect. I did notice as well that it did soften the appearance of freshly applied make up - which I think can look too perfect sometimes. It seem to help blend the make up in more. It is also good for carrying around to freshen up from time to time as it has quite a cooling effect. You can also use the empty bottle as a water mister when you have finished the product. Overall, I think it is worth the money, because it's better and more convenient (and probably works out cheaper) then carrying around a whole make up kit with you and reapplying or touching up with expensive make up throughout the day.

I would really recommend this product to anyone who has a problem with their make up sliding off during the day as it really does help. It is also good for late nights when you can't be bothered to moisturise your face properly before going to bed - just use a couple of squirts of this! It also allows you to keep your face moisturised during the day against the effects of pollution and air conditioning etc withough messing with your make up. I would thoroughly recommend this product.

Summary: Value for money.
