When you open the tub and look at the cream it appears quite thick. However when you actually scoop some of this out it isn't as thick as it looks. It applies quite easily to the face but it is a very rich cream and only a small amount is needed. I found that this cream was very good if you have dry skin. However, it does leave a sligh...more

Crowned Review The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisturiser & Night Cream: Vitamin E-xcellent! (787 words)

Worried about wrinkles? Summer skin left you feeling a bit flaky? No fear, Body Shop’s Vitamin E moisture cream is here! But why is it so good? Well, Vitamin E is an excellent antioxidant, which protects your skin from harmful free radicals (pollution, wind etc), in the environment. It’s also a natural anti-aging vitamin (great if your budget doesn’t stretch to a face-lift!) which when the skin is exposed to the sun, helps reduce the UVB damage and thus reduces wrinkles. Most importantly it contains wheat germ oil, a fantastic moisturising ingredient that is so rich, it is used to treat scars. The best thing about it is everyone can use it, even babies! (It’s ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Easily absorbed my foot! (441 words)

The Body Shop Vitamin E Night moisturiser is described as being good for all skin types, an easily absorbable, nourishing night cream. It is a very pale pink in colour and has quite a thick creamy texture - almost like the body butters that the Body Shop does, rather than a lighter cream. It contains wheat germ oil and vitamin E to 'revitalise' skin overnight. I think the scent is predominantly the wheat germ in the cream as it smells quite mildly wheaty I would say and appears to be otherwise unperfumed - it certainly doesn't smell fruity or floral in any way. I have quite dry skin and need a moisturiser that will really replenish my skin, at the same time ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisturiser & Night Cream: Very rich night cream (427 words)

This cream was given to me by a friend who 'couldn't get along with it'. I therefore decided to give it a go but after her comments having no great hopes. The cream that you buy from the Body Shop is in a 50ml plastic tub with a screw lid. It is pink colour with the label clearly displaying what it is on the top of the tub. The actual tub that I was given was a trial size tub of 15 ml. Normally I would list all the ingredients but there are so many that I won't, but I can tell you that they do not test their products on animals and use fair trade cocoa beans for the coco butter that is in this product. The directions state that you ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Smooth, soft skin (234 words)

I am a huge fan of the Body Shop's products as you will see from my other Body Shop reviews. A product that I use often by them is Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream. This product costs £10 for a 50ml tub which may seam expensive but it is worth it for such a luxary product. The body shop is very eco-friendly and uses all natural ingrediants to produce their products, they do not test on animals and they actively support recycling so these reason alone are enough to pay that little extra. The cream comes in a nicely packaged little tub that is pink in colour. It has a very nice smell to it and is suitable for all skin ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisturiser & Night Cream: My Skin Loves This! (688 words)

Vitamin E creams are great for keeping your skin soft and getting rid of any dry patches. I started using these on the recommendation of Body Shop staff when I asked for advice last year. In the run up to my wedding both my skin and hair dried out badly. Obviously I wanted to restore my complexion before the big day. ~~~~ Why Vitamin E? ~~~~ I actually didn't start to wonder why until I came to update this opinion. Then I started to search the Internet and was surprised at how difficult the information was to find. Still I got there in the end! In general studies have shown Vitamin E can reduce the risk of non-fatal heart attacks. There ...  Read the complete review
