Skin type: All ~ Introduction ~ My friend is a fan of The Body Shop and managed to lure me into one in Oxford Street. I wasn't looking for anything in particular, but I saw they had a fairly large tube of warming clay mask product and realised it actually came very handy. I was going to Mauritius at the end of the year for three months and because I wanted to gently tan my body I needed something to cleanse my face without using exfoliating face scrubs. ~ Exfoliation and sun exposure ~ Exfoliating is an absolute no-no if you're tanning either naturally or in a sunbed, because exfoliating products also remove the mature outer ... I have always been a fan of The Body Shop although I have found that the older I get, the less I tend to treat myself. I was Christmas shopping last weekend (early I know but I plan to be organised this year!) when I came across a product that caught my attention - the warming mineral mask! Packaging The warming mineral mask comes in a plastic tube with a clear flip top lid. The tube is a pale grey colour with a darker green section which contains the writing. The writing reads "The Body Shop" "Warming Mineral mask" suitable for all skin types. Also written on the tube is "'with Kaolin clay to deep cleanse and a thermal complex ... Read the complete review

This mineral mask from the Bodyshop is just SO good I thought I'd write a review to tell others as it's good to share experiences on excellent products. I won't tell you about the ethics or history of the Body Shop as I'm sure everyone knows - I still get a good feeling about buying their products even though I can't afford to buy as many as I used to. I've had real problems with my 56 year old skin - the older it gets the more prone I seem to get to blackheads so I'm determined to get my face thoroughly cleansed & fresher-looking before Christmas. I paid £7.50 for 100ml of bodyshop's Warming Mineral Mask & can honestly say it's ... Read the complete review

a********************** The packaging ********************** A tapering tube which is pale grey in colour with darker green section with grey writing on it. It is understated and could be overlooked very easily; the cap is clear plastic and has a flip lid. In the green box, the writing reads 'The Body Shop' - Warming mineral mask, All skin types. It goes on to say 'with Kaolin clay to deep cleanse and a thermal complex to warm the skin. No added colour or fragrance. 100ml On the reverse of the packaging is a whole load of words stating the benefits and directions (which I will go into in a bit) along with a host of ingredients. Well, in my life there are "days", "super days" and then the "one of those days"... "Days" are fairly ok. Nothing special happens, no major hiccups at work and after a fun after-work beer I come home to a nice meal prepared by Honey. And for dessert, there is a good book on my bedside table. On "Super days" life is simply divine. I feel refreshed when waking up, the tram arrives just as I get to the station, there is a good atmosphere at work, no problems remain unsolved, I've got loads of ideas for new ciao ops and Honey is a honey On "one of those days", however, everything ...
