It is naturally scented with plants extracts and geranium oil according to the blurb on the back. ~Directions for use: Massage into damp skin on the face and neck with gentle circular movements then rinse thoroughly, It recommends to use a toner and moisturiser afterwards and believe me you will need a moisturiser!(more about that later) So what do I think of it? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~...more

I don't usually use Sanctuary products as they seem quite expensive, I bought this a while ago when Boots were giving out the £3 off Sanctuary skincare vouchers. This was one of the cheapest products and at the time I didn't have a face wash so thought for £2.95 (normal price £5.95) it was worth a try. The bottle I bought was 200ml. I have been using Boots No.7 soft and soothed gentle cleanser for a few years now, and love it, but at £7.00 a bottle, it is expensive to use on a daily basis. I have been looking for a cheaper alternative, and my first try with Boots cucumber 2in1 cleanser was a disaster, so I then moved on to the Sanctuary Spa facial wash. ~Packaging~ This comes in a tall white bottle, with a pump action dispenser and frosted plastic lid. Although I think the white bottle with its blue and silver writing looks quite stylish, I don't think it's the most practical choice. In the two weeks I was using this, it managed to get marks on it from when I had been washing ...
