I bought this as I have quite a few sanctuary products and thought this would be a decent alternative to Liz Earle which I normally get. As I really like their other products so I thought I would give this a try.

I bought the little bottle which at £2.50 I think it is quite a good price and it is also a good idea to see if you actually like it without wasting more money than you need to.

The packaging is a white plastic bottle with silver and blue writing on the front. When I opened the bottle it has a little hole in the top and you have to squeeze the bottle for it to come out. It is quite thin in consistency and it has a lovely pearly grey colour. I was expecting a lovely smell as with their other products but was disappointed by this as it just smelled soapy.

It lathers nicely and you do get a lot of foam from a little squirt which was good. When I rinsed it off I felt it made my skin feel a little tight but not enough to stop me using it.

I expected more from this really and wont be buying anymore of this when my bottle runs out. Maybe my skin was just sensitive to it but I did feel gutted as I like the other stuff made by them.

I think you should try this if looking for another brand of facial wash but only buy the small bottle just in case.

Summary: a little disappointment
