I first used this product in the run up to my wedding.
At the time I was 5 months pregnant and suffering from serious skin problems and 'teenage spots' caused by the ever increasing hormones which were taking over my body.

I had a series of not nice rash like spots under my chin which I knew weren't going to look pretty in the wedding photography and I knew I had to do something about it.

I came across this microbrasion polish in my local boots. It was in The Santuary range so I knew I would pay over the odds but thought it was worth it as it was for my wedding. In fact I did only pay around £10.00 for this for a 100ml tube, and of course picked up a few advantage card points with this purchase too. I think you would agree that this is a fair price compared to what you might be expected to pay in a beauty salon for a microbrasion skin rub treatment. I would say you could probably get abou 10-15 washed from 1 tube = BARGAIN!!

On first inspection I thought the packaging was a little plain and ordinary - this is unusual for The Sanctuary as my eyes are normally caught by their bright orange packaging. It came in a long, white, cardboard box with silver outline. The inner packaging was much the same in a plain white tube - not particulaly exciting!!

The Sanctuary is well known for the smell of its products. I usually find them tangy and exciting but this was a little different. The smell was so gorgeous i had to stop myself from eating it - Instead i just stood in the shower and sniffed at the tube to take in the scent. I can't fully explain the smell to you, but it was a very gentle and relaxing smell and very fresh, like a woodland smell. I sometimes find smells of products can cause heaadches for me but this was not a problem.

The instructions on the packaging were very clear, explaining that you must first cleanse your face and then massage the polish into you skin in a circular upwards motion. As I appiled the polish I could feel an exhilarating warming feeling on my skin and i instantly felt fresh. The polish contains some sort of grit which exfoliates your skin whilst the warming action opens your pores and draws out the toxins. The feeling as you rub the poilsh in is really pleasant, please be sure to avoid your mouth though as it doesn't taste particulaly nice.

This product is made 100% of natural products including beewax, bambo and kaolin amongst others making it suitable for all skin types including sensetive skin.

This product can be brought from most good boots stores and also on boots online and can also be found in some other good retailers.

I would really recommend this product to anyone as it dramatically smooths and softens the skin and makes it look and feel lovely. It is extremely uplifting and many people have commented on my skin since using this and at how youthful it looks. Happy polishing
