Total Turnaround is a salicylic sacid based exfoliator. It claims a gentle exfoliation of the outer layer of the skin during the night, making the skin appear smoother, younger, pinker and noticeably wrinkle-free in the morning.
What it really does: I'm not sure. It, for sure, add moisture (aka grease) to the skin.
And that's about all...
I used a 30 ml pot from the beginning to the end. That means about 3 month treatment.
Turnaround works (?) as a night cream. In the morning, you have to wash your face with the soap (what I did), use the Clarifying lotion 2 with a cotton ball in order to remove the dead cells (What I did) and use the Dramatically Different Moisturising Lotion (what I didn't, because I don't like it: I used my own moisturising cream instead, Bioforce comfrey cream).
My skin care routine before Turnaround was the same, morning and night, only I used the comfrey cream as night as well with Clinique's Daily Eye Saver night and morning.
Turnaround didn't give any noticeable improvement in my skin tone, my wrinkles, my pores, my sun spots, or my levels of moisture during the daytime. After cleansing in the morning, the feeling was the same as before. After using the Clarifying Lotion, wich is itself a fairly good exfoliant, the feeling was just the same before and after Turnaround, and my skin didn't appear to be dirtiest after using it (with all these dead cells that Turnaround was supposed to help remove during the night).
What Turnaround did was to add plenty of grease and oil to my skin, wich is combination to dry: every morning, my forehead, my nose and my chin were oilier than ever: even in my teens I never had so much grease in my face! Luckily, I didn't break out, so I continued using it, hoping to see the miracle of younger skin sometime in those month.
It didn't happen.
I wouldn't recommend this cream to someone with oily or combination skin. It does
n't make a visible difference in the skin colour, texture or touch.
You can get a gentle exfoliator for less than half the money, or you even can wash or clean your face and use a gentle wash cloth as exfoliator: that's what I did after using Turnaround and that really made a difference!!
