... closest in my 30 years of looking anyway. I like this even more because it is fragrance free and I do prefer the non or lesser smelling products, I don't like smell on my hands as I touch food and it then tastes of hand cream. The cream is a white, non sticky substance. It is slightly greasy and does leave a sheen on your hand. But it does work for quite a long period of time, and with constant use it does improve the texture and softness of your skin. I don't use lots of the cream, you need only a 20 pence piece wor...more

Premium Review Vaseline Intensive Rescue Soothing Hand Cream: Hand cream that hydrates and moisturises! (417 words)

I recently borrowed my sisters Vaseline Intensive Care hand lotion, I usually always carry a hand cream in my handbag especially in this cold weather as my hands get dry very quickly. However I forgot it, so I used my sisters. Now if these creams actually worked we wouldn't need to use them forever, but we do, don't we. I like to think they work but short term. I have tried many moisturizers and hand creams over the years and I have never really stuck to any because they all work temporarily or not at all, so I move on hoping to find the cure. I haven't found the cure, but Vaseline Intensive Care does come close, closest in my 30 years of ...  Read the complete review

Vaseline Intensive Rescue Soothing Hand Cream is a great soothing hand cream for very dry skin. The hand cream is made with a special hypoallergenic formula which intensely moisturises the skin. It comes in a 50ml tube and although a small tube you only need a little for it to work really well. The cream costs around £2.93 and is available from Boots, various chemists and also most supermarkets. The key ingredients in the cream are Petroleum jelly which locks the moisture in, Glycerin which helps the skin repair itself and something called Dimethicone which is an emollient and works to soften the skin. The hand cream works in 3 ways. Firstly the glycerin ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Vaseline Intensive Rescue Soothing Hand Cream: This cream rescued my hands (272 words)

In the past I have always used neutragena hand cream especially in the Winter when my hands become very dry, but I have found over the last few months that it wasn't healing up my dry and cracked hands like it used to, so I looked for something else. Knowing that the Vaseline intensive is well advertised and supposed to be good I thought I would give it a try. It says it is for very dry skin, and my hands were getting so sore that my knuckles were beginning to bleed if I caught them where the skin was really rough. It comes in a 50ml tube with a flip up top for easy application. The cream is not concentrated, but you don't need too much to see ...  Read the complete review

Vaseline Intensive Care - for the best skin care! I suffer dry skin, and I don't tend to moisturize all that often as I never have time. Obviously I am my own worst enemy BUT I do moisturize as and when I can. I have used a variety of creams/lotions/sprays and I think for those of you who really want to lock moisture in, this is the product for you. Personally I use the fragrance free variety as this is great (I can't stand really smelly products, I always end up sneezing). I like smells but this is good and neutral and doesn't make me sneeze. The cream itself is white and non sticky although a little bit greasy. I use this ...  Read the complete review
