The cream is white in appearance and slides unto your skin very easily, it is not very gel like though so you will need a few dabs in order to spread it on your skin, as if you over rub it it will start to form little lines and will rub off. First of all let me stress that Vichy Normaderm is no longer sold in the VERY dated picture dooyoo has posted. I would never buy something that looked like it was dug out of my grandmothers vanity drawer... It is now sold in a white tall narrow pump action container with a light green lid. I no longer regularly use this product but decided to sing its praises as when I was in my teenage years I suffered from oily skin and this product was like a miracle on my skin. I had been recommended to try a product called ProActive by an American friend but after looking at the site for it, I found it would take a week for it to arrive and you were signed up to a club and would receive more. On my visit to my local Llyods pharmacy I was heading for my usual clearasil when I came across this range.
