Advantages: light, pleasant smell

Disadvantages: expensive

Us womean are constantly looking for ways to improve our skin, rid of the wrinkles and lines which form with age .... the first often being the fine lines under our eyes. I confess to having felt the same vanity and checking the mirror closely and groaning every so often paraniod that they were getting worse and more obvious. It was time to try out some of those famous creams with their "clinical tests" and "promises" - I tried a few, then gave it up as an expensive and stupid idea ! One day, feeling a little flush and having been invited to a friends hosted Virgin Vie party, I decided to try the "Stop the Clock Wrinkle Relief Anti-ageing Eye Treatment" - a long name for a such a small pot that costs around £18.00 - but they say good things come in little packages. It claims that "tests prove when used morning and night after 2 weeks use, fine lines and wrinkles are reduced by up to 35% and after 4 weeks use, by up to 55%." - admittingly I was sceptical, but have to try something instead of groaning about it all the time.
The cream is very light, and smells lovely. I religiously use it morning and night, as instructed - though I use very little. It has now been around six weeks, and I swear those fine lines which were plagueing my eyes have reduced - I certainly don't seem to notice them when looking closely in the mirror, except those good laughter lines when smiling, but that's a nice thing to have, don't you think ?
So I have to ask myself, does it work, or doesn't it ???
Is it just that I am moisturising that particular area correctly meaning the skin looks better ? Or am I just convincing myself that as it feels good, and smells nice making me want to continue to use it, then it must be working ?
Or is all a state of mind ? The way you feel in your self, and your own self confidence, means it works for you ???
