I can always remember as a child my mother giving me a bowl of hot water and a towel draped over my head, to inhale the steam to help when I had a cold, to unblock my suffy nose. As with all things, new products are brought on the market to aid us through life and this facial sauna is no exception.

DESIGN:

It has a white plastic base, with a detachable contoured facial mask and a nasal inhaler, which are purple transparent colours. It has only one switch on/off and a neon indicator light, located on the base. It is operated by mains power. The facial mask is nicely shaped to fit your face into and is comfortable; both the attachments just push on to the base. You get a measuring cup supplied with it and the user manual is very easy to follow. It is very easy to store as it’s not that big, also it’s lightweight.


USES:

Helps to keep your skin healthy by cleansing.

Relieves chest and nasal congestion.

It opens your pores to release grime and dirt.

Can aid and give relief to symptoms of hayfever.

Reduces the chance of blackheads and spots.


MY VIEW:

This really is worth every penny, as it does work extremely well, which is great for a product to do what it claims it can. It is so easy to use, just measure the water into the cup provided and add to the base unit, you can also add a few drops of aromatherapy oil to the water to enhance the vapour action, which is just true bliss. If you have a cold than I can recommend eucalyptus, sandalwood or basil oils all very effect for clearing your airways, much better than using expensive nasal products. It only takes a few minutes to reach the right temperature and after 15 minutes you can feel the benefits. I always use mine just before I go to bed, when I have a cold, as it helps you to get to sleep quickly, without feeling bunged up. On other occasions it can be used just to relax after a hard days work. It really m
akes your face feel fresh and clean, and gives you a lovely glow and warm feeling inside your body.

I would say that men should also be encouraged to use these, too, as they have skin problems and colds, just like us ladies. This excellent sauna is available from Argos and costs only £12.99, which is really good value. This would also make a lovely present for someone, and one that they would be pleased to own. Finally just a great product as small children with colds and teenagers with spots can also benefit from them, so go on go and get one you won’t be disappointed.
