Wilkinson FX Performer

Like the protector more - Advantages: close shave, almost impossible to cut yourself, comfortable in the hand - Disadvantages: not good on three day growth

Put your hand up if you are a man and hate shaving. Right then, I made that err 1..2..3..4............ 18,738,962 or thereabouts. So - you hate it, but it has to be done. Do you prefer a WET Shave or are you 'all-electric' nowadays? If you prefer a CLOSE, Wet shave then the chances are you either use Gillette Mach 3 or maybe some cheapo disposal razor - or maybe you use this one, Wilkinson Sword's top of the range FX PERFORMER. I received the Gillette Mach 3 razor and a Wilkinson FX from family for Christmas (Woohoo!!) I started using the Gillete and was very pleased with the performance. I forgot about the FX untill I ran out of blades for the other razor. Here is where my problem started. The blades got clogged about a quarter of the way through my face. The appear to mounted in rubber, which may help the razor contour your face, but also allows the blades to 'nip' the hairs and end up uselessly clogged. I tried cleaning the hairs out with an old toothbrush which didnt work in the slightest. I want out with 'mangey' looking stubble to get me some ...
