Just bought this yesterday. Why did no one ever tell me? Amazing. I must have quite sensitive skin I suppose cause ever since I started shaving, 12 years ago, I end up with this red inlfamed chin that burnt for the rest of the day. It would only be the next day before I could touch my chin again. My job requires a clean shave and a tie(yuck). But I resisted. For the last ten years I have been shaving every other day. I started with the original Gillette. Moved on to the Gillette Excel when that came out. This sometimes gave a closer shave but still burnt the hell out of my skin and i was cutting it on an average of 2-3 times per shave. Next ... Read the complete review

I apologise beforehand for jumping into the mans world of razors..... But I just had to share my disgust for what I term as almost the worst razor I have ever tried. I periodically end up nicking my other half?s razors from his basket in the bathroom, and up till now I was satisfied with the effectiveness of the Gillette Mach3 he was using. (But that will be another op). This time there was a newcomer lurking in the depths. The usual brand that I buy for him was not in stock, so he ended up settling for Wilkinson Sword. In a snazzy blue / yellow combination, the Wilkinson Sword Protection 3D Diamond razor (mouthful) looked rather professional. ... Read the complete review

Mind you, the pills are helping.... So, on to the razor. A man with no razor blades is truely a man in trouble, the fear of being refused credit with the bank and the horrors of the repayment plans for the HUGELY OUTRAGEOUS PRICES charged for them are not pleasant things to go through. Imagine my joy and elation when, on a reluctant shopping trip to Wood Green (suffering Dorothy Perkins, New Look and a range of local shoe shops) we stumbled into Superdrug and saw a FREE Wilkinson Sword Protector 3D when you buy a set of 4 blades for £2.99. Snapped it up, I did (don't you just love Yoda speak?). When it comes to shaving I'm not ... Read the complete review

I have been using this style of razor for quite a while now and am pleased to announce that I have found no real problems with it. It offers a cose shave, meaning no need to constantly hack away at the same piece of your face over and over again to remove a patch of troublesome care, as the hair is often removed in one or two strokes. The razor glides smoothly over your skin and rarely leaves you with any cuts, as many other razors that I have tried have done. This is a good feature, meaning that applying the aftershave won't sting as ,uch as there are no cuts for it to worm its way into!! This razor comes in a variety of head designs, including the badge of football ... Read the complete review

I use Protector razors as I have small moles on my face, one or two of which are in awkward places on the jawline, and are a bit raised. I also have a largish flat mole on my cheek (now close your eyes, and imagine this face with hazel eyes and a sarcastic grin - you now have no idea what I look like). The protector, designed to minimise nicks and cuts has been my choice for years now. From the outset, I felt that it did exactly what it said, no more, no less. It did cut me a lot less than any other razor, and that was all that I was looking for. The handle is very comfortable in the hand, and the pivoting head works very well. The Protector used to have a ... Read the complete review
