Advantages: Cleans my face effectively enough

Disadvantages: Hasn't improved my spots at all and seems no different to other facial wipes that I've used

I don't buy facial wipes on a regular basis, these have been my product of choice when I do. I have problem skin that is prone to spots, blackheads and large, open pores so I was hopeful that something containing witch hazel would help my skin to look better.

***The Wipes***
These wipes have a bit of a medicated smell to them with the added witch hazel, but this is not that strong. The wipes are not as wet as I would like and as a result, I have to put a fair amount of effort into cleaning my face. I don't like doing this as facial wipes are usually my stop-gap for when I can't be bothered to use cleanser and toner and want a quick option. The pack is supposed to be resealable but I often find that this is not actually the case and the wipes seem to dry out quite quickly because of this. With them not being that wet in the first place, this makes them pretty useless.

***The Results***
These wipes do not seem to have had the desired effect as my skin does not look any better than before I started using them. I still have as many spots, which have not cleared up despite the witch hazel that these facial wipes contain so they have not done anything positive in this respect. Although they do a good enough job of getting rid of make-up and general grime but the cheaper facial wipes also seem to do this so I don't see the point in paying extra for these!

***The Price***
A pack of 25 wipes costs £3.91 from Boots. Considering the fact that I was not that impressed with these facial wipes, I seriously doubt that I will be willing to pay this price again as it seems rather expensive. I was quite tempted to try the Boots version of these wipes as they are around 50p cheaper and sometimes go on offer for 2 for £5, but I am happy using the Sainsburys Skin Therapy facial wipes at the moment so I will carry on using those instead unless my skin decides that it has had enough of those (which seems to happen a bit too often for my liking!).

***Overall Thoughts***
I will not be buying these facial wipes again as they did not seem to make any significant difference to my skin and do not do any different a job to the cheaper facial wipes that I have been experimenting with lately. My spots are no smaller or less frequent, and as this was my main reason for buying this brand it has not persuaded me to carry on using this product again.

Summary: I won't bother buying these again
