witch sticks are absolutley fantastic.

They come in a small plastic tube which will fit nicely into your hand bag so you can take it any where with you and only costs about £1.99 a tube. It will last you for ages at least 200 applications and are usually in date for about 3 years so dont worry about it going off.

Inside the tube you have got a blue substance that is almost a solid but not quite, very similar to solid perfume sticks, there are no fancy gizmos to make this go up out of the tube you just have to put your finger in the hole at the bottom of the tube and push it up slightly, dont push it all the way up as like lip balms it is a pain to get back into the tube.

Witch hazel which is what this is made of has many uses, as another review has stated it is supposed to be good for clearing up spots, this doesnt always seem the case at first use as it drys the effected skin up and kills any infection obviously bringing it to the surface of the skin so they do look worse before they look better but it is worth it in the end.

As i said there are lots of uses for this as it can be applied to any cut, graze or burn along with any other skin complante, it helps kill bacteria, promotes heeling, soothes the burning from a new burn, stops the tightning on the skin from a new burn and reduced scaring.

It does sting a little at first when you apply it but this stops after about 30 seconds and the stinging is only the same as other antiseptic creams, thats how you know it is working and it doesnt sting any where near as much as tcp does or smell bad either, the smell reminds me of a facial astringent.

This product is great and i wouldnt be without a couple, i say a couple as there is one always in my bathroom cabinet, one in my hand bag and one in the car because as all parents will know you get quite a few scratches and grazed knees with young children.

Summary: a very useful item to have
