Having clear skin and never suffering from acne I have never had the need to use spot treatments, however I have recently started gettin an outbreak on my chin which i've found to be a hormonal outbreak due to that time of the month. So after my latest outbreak glaring away on my chin whilst doing a bit of shopping I decided to get something to hopefully take the redness away.

I remember witch hazel from my youth, whenever I had a cut or graze this was my parents gel of choice, so after spotting the brand I decided to try.

The witch stick is similar to a pritt stick but I would say half the size (10g), perfect for on the go. To use the product you just push the tube up and dab on the affected area, easy!!! It is a pale aqua solid stick but when you apply it leaves a liquid on your skin, non greasy and light and drys fairly quick.

The main bit...does it work?? YES!! I was pleasantly surprised to see the redness calmed down and it dried the blemish meaning it cleared up quickly.

Aside from the convenient form and size of the product the price is impressive too. For a 10g stick you would expect to pay just a few pounds (currently on offer at Boots) and is available in most supermarkets and chemists. I have used the stick quite a lot and it doesnt seem to be wearing down so it definately lasts and lasts.

The info on the stick describes it as being the ultimate in blemish control by helping breakdown excess oils and fighting the bacteria that causes spots.

Summary: Perfect for those pesky blemishes
