I couldn't believe it, Santa was kind enough to but one of these lovely little highlighter brush-pens in my stocking last chrismas (not quite sure what he is trying to tell me!!). I was over the moon as I have wanted one for ages after trying my mates. I just did want to shell out £20+ for one little pen.

First the packaging, after tearing open the wrapping paper I came across the bpx which is very classy, its gold with the red and black Yves Saint Laurent logo and black writing. The pen itself is gold with a push on gold lid. The brush is white. There is 2.5ml of the highlighter liquid which doesn't sound a lot but trust me a little goes a long way. YSL say this will ad radiance, banish shadows and signs of fatigue which it certainly does. It can be purchased from the internet (which is usually the cheapest option) and retailers who have the YSL stand.

To get the liquid to the brush you have to push the black button at the other end of the pen several times. As far as I know there is three or four colours from fair to ethnic. I am using the one for fair skin and as I am very fair I find it difficult to match my skin tone but this does the job perfectly.

I love it! I haven't got dramatic dark circles around my eyes but every now and then they need a little something to stop me looking tired. This certainly does the job. I personally use it over my foundation to make sure that I don't rub it off when applying the foundation. It compliments it very well you can't tell that I am using two different products.

It lasts all day and if your make-up is looking shabby just use a touch of this to freshen it up. The higlighter isn't heavy you can't really tell you are wearing it.

I love it and will certainly be buying another one when it runs out, that is unless something even better comes out!
