I love the skin ceutical products and treat myself once a month to one of them, they are expensive to buy but as I don't drink or smoke these are my luxury items that I feel I deserve every now and then to pamper myself and to help to try and combat the signs of aging as I am now heading for the big 50 birthday next month.
As christmas has just gone, my daughters like to treat me to one of my favourite products and they chip their money together to get me something every year. This year they got me Skin Ceuticals Hydrating B5 Gel which retails from £50 to £57 for a 30ml bottle which is very expensive for the size you get. I am glad they pooled their money for this present.

The hydrating gel can be seen from the bottle and it is a clear gel that you only need a little of for it to begin to work, you use it on the area's of the face that need re-hydrating. One or two drops can be rubbed gently into the face to re-hydrate under the eyes and cheeks. You only need a little bit for it to work which is good as it is expensive.
You can apply it with your fingers as putting it onto a cotton wool ball isn't very ecomomical as the cotton wool ball drinks it up and you lose some as it gets absorbed. Using it with your fingers is better as it can be quickly and gently smoothed over the area's of the face that need it most. You can use it on the neck too but I only use this on my face to get rid of the laughter lines and the dark circles under my eyes if I have had a broken nights sleep.
Sometimes the skin under my eyes becomes puffy if I haven't slept properly due to the hot sweats and flushes that a woman gets of my age. This gel helps to get rid of the swelling and smooths the skin nicely within a few minutes of applying.

Is contains vitamin B5 and the B vitamins are well known for helping to repair the skin, after using this gel you can feel the skin has tightened a little. Not in the way that it stings as you apply it but the skin seems to drink it in quickly and then if you rub your finger on the skin where it has been applied you can feel how soft and smooth the skin feels and it also feels a little tighter.
This has been commented on a few times by my friends as they have said I am looking good or healthy. You can use this twice a day but I just use it once in the morning where it's needed on my face, as it's so expensive to buy you can't really lash it on.

This is suitable for alll types of skin and it has been good for mine as I have sensative skin and find that I can only use certain beauty products on my face without them causing me to go red or blotchy, ths one is alright so I am happy to recommend it to you.
