Brita Acclario ... in Shropshire, we suffer dreadfully from hard water. I was finding I need to descale my old kettle on a weekly basis, otherwise I would get strange bits floating in my tea - urgggh!!! Thereford when the Brita Acclario first hit the market - I immediately went out to buy one. It did everything it said it would do. Morphy Richards Slow Cooker ... get this feeling that slow cookers are not the “in” appliance at the moment, so I’m going to try and change all that with this review. I decided I wanted a slow cooker when my new oven failed to stay on long enough (electric – turned it self off – don’t ask!!) to do my long slow Lancashire Hotpot recipe, so a quick nip onto the old internet and the Morphy Richards Digital Slow cooker is what I bought. The appliance is made up of brushed finish stainless steel and it has a ceramic hotpot inner which is removable so if you like you can take your cooked meal to the table to serve. Breville Food Processor ... managed to drop and break the mixing bowl of my FP6, back in June. I contacted the Customer Services dept. at Breville about a replacement and am still waiting - it s 26th August now. They kept my cheque for over a month before banking it, and despite a couple of calls to them, and a letter written two weeks ago to the Managing Director, I have had no reponse whatever. You can ring the contact number during normal office hours and get a recorded message telling you that they are closed for the weekend, and when you do finally manage to get through, the person on the other end will promise to despatch your item right away, but they don t.
