JML Halogen Oven: ... quote Monty Python - "and now for something completely different ....." Introducing the JML Halogen Mini-Oven - this is a compact table top unit which is ideal for cooking entire meals faster than a conventional oven and using less power. How do they manage to do that you may well wonder and hopefully, in the course of this review, I will be able to explain it to you. Try to forget about those awful JML...

rlparker23 Morphy Richards Slow Cooker
... recently started a new job which has longer hours so by the time I got home i was starving and the last thing i wanted to do was spend ages cooking. After living off ready meals for a while my mum suggested I got a slow cooker. I saw this one in argos on sale for £14 so i thought why not! I admit the first time i used it it didnt really work very well but that was my fault! I added cold liquid to it as i was running late when you are supposed to heat it up first. I also didn t quickly brown the meat or heat it all in a pan first, as i thought that kind of defeated the point of why i bought the thing in the first place! All this meant when i got home it wasnt cooked. I ...

rlparker23 Tefal 2-Tier Aquatimer Steamer
... bought this product for 3 reasons 1 - I was/am trying to be a bit healthy 2 - I was fed up of washing pans 3 - I had £20 of Argos vouchers burning a hole in my pocket! I found this steamer in Argos on reduced to £14.99 which I thought was quite a good bargain. At the moment they are selling it for £18.99 (the original price is listed at £39.99) so it is still a good deal. When I got it home I unpacked all the bits and I must agree with the other reviewers that it does look a bit cheap and nasty. However I have had mine a while now and use it nearly every day and it is still working and all in one piece so it must be tougher then it looks! Also there was an awful lot o...

laramax Malata Induction Hob MC-200V
... you want a responsive, fast and efficient cooker hob then look no further than this little induction hob. I have to admit I was really curious when I saw it advertised in the Scotts of Stow catalogue as I hadn t really heard of induction hobs although I had seen one demonstrated on QVC a little while ago which had intrigued me. This hob was around half the price of the QVC one at just £29.99 so I was keen to find out more and, being something of a gadget freak, that meant doing a bit of research first to see what induction cooking was all about. Let me stress here that I am not a scientist so for the purists amongst you I accept that my explanation may leave something...
