Advantages: Easy to use and store, Cheap to run
Disadvantages: Has resulted in an increase in my coffee consumption!
Having just finished a cup of cappuccino coffee which I made using my Aerolatte milk frother, I can heartily endorse this gadget. I saw the Aerolatte being demonstrated on QVC about 5 weeks ago and was most impressed and immediately sent for one. In the past I have found that many gadgets which are demonstrated on T.V. and at Ideal Home Exhibitions look fantastic when they are being used by somebody else but when I have a go they just don't seem to work. So I was understandably sceptical. I need not have worried about the Aerolatte. A child of five could successfully use this little item. My only problem is the quantity of froth it produces from such a small amount of milk. It's very hard to judge how much milk to use if you only want to make enough froth for one drink. But that's no big deal - I just spoon feed what's left to my cat!! It really does work with any type of milk. I personally use skimmed milk and have friends who use regular pasteurized and they are raving about their success. The milk can be hot (though not boiling) or cold and the instruction leaflet is dead simple to follow. Since buying my Aerolatte I have seen them advertised for sale in one or two places and I am seriously thinking of giving one to my sister as a present. It is small enough to keep in a drawer, extremely easy to clean (unlike it's electice counterparts) and cheap to run. Two batteries last a reasonable length of time. And, last but not least, it impresses all my visitors when I make them a cuppa cappuccino!! Go out and buy one.
