This steamer is AMAZING! Was bought as a present and its the only steamer I have ever needed, has lasted about 2 years with everyday usage! The vegetables I steamed tasted amazing and completley changed my opinion on healthy food, compared to boiling this steamer makes my vegetables taste much nicer and keep there colour. It also pings when the timer is up which is such a great advantage as Im very easily distracted and dont always remember to look at the time but the ping instantly reminds me! I've never used a steamer before so we wanted to buy one which was cheap and I could 'practice' with. This one was only about £10, and has been more than well worth the money. The bowl are a decent size and you can fit loads of veggies in. The steamer takes no time at all to set up, simply pour your water in, tip your veggies into the bowls, and turn it on. The timer is very easy to use, you simply turn the dial and it tells you when it's done. Never having used a steamer before I was keen to buy a 'value for money' version to make sure I would get my use out of it. I have a young baby who had recently started weaning and steaming seems to be the healthiest way to retain the vitamins in fruits and vegetables when cooking. The Argos value range 3 bowl steamer was £10.69 at the time of my purchase however I have noticed it has recently gone down in price to £8.69 bargain! The steamer itself has three tiers so you can cook several things at the same time, there is also a rice tray for cooking either rice or rice pudding.
