Advantages: Cheap and blends well

Disadvantages: My blending cup was very flimsy and cracked

This little blender is brilliant. When my daughter started weaning I was using a large blender and although this was great for blending large quantities of babyfood it was a pain to wash up all the time. I decided to get a hand blender and wasn't life easier. It comes with a container in which to blend food and was the ideal size for blending my daughters food unfortunatly the container was quite flimsy and broke easily but I really can't fault the blender. One food item that doesn't blend well is potato as the starch breaks down and you are left with a sticky, gluey mess that isn't edible. It blends brilliantly and is easy to clean and even now that my daughter is older it still gets used all the time, it is ideal to make milkshakes, remove lumps from cheese sauce and to make pesto sauce.
A great, cheap blender.
