Advantages: Blends really well

Disadvantages: Hard to clean

I've had my blender for more years than I care to admit but it has been a wonderful help in the kitchen. I'm a great fan of soups and sauces and this blender plugs in to your socket and is immediately ready to wizz and item you are preparing.

With soups, if you want a smooth consistency, simply use the blender to wizz it down.

With sauces, when disaster happens, it's ready to rescue you from embarrarasing situations.

The down side is the cleaning afterwards. That blade is sharp and don't even try to clean it by hand. I took the extremely dangerous route of leaving it plugged in, plunging in to soapy water and turning it on. Not for the faint hearted, against any manufacturers guidelines... but it was clean afterwards. Please don't shoot me down on this, I know it's wrong.

If you have a sunlit kitchen and actually used the wall mount to store the blender, you'll find it turns a horrible shade of yellow after a few months. It's better off in a drawer or cupboard.
