I've had a Braun Multiquick for about 6 years now, they are the most useful kitchen gadget ever. Buy one of these and you need no other electric kitchen items (except maybe an electric knife and an electric vegetable peeler!). If you watch "Ready Steady Cook" you will have seen this in action, they often use the chopper and the blender on there. Just before Christmas I broke the attachment on the chopper which is what I use most so I decided to buy a nice new one as I was aware the new ones came with better attachments. They also come with a small attachment which can be used to hang the unit on the wall. ~~~ The Motor ~~~ The motor is a ... Read the complete review

When I first started weaning my son (who is now 8 months) I wanted it to be as stress-free and easy as possible, lord knows it's a difficult enough job without spending hours mashing and sieving! I decided to purchase the Braun Multiquick system because it had everything I needed to puree and mix baby food and other things. I have to say it's brilliant! It has so many different accessories (and I'm sure I'll never use half of them!) and the basic blender is fab and works effortlessly to make wonderful purees. It also has a lidded measuring container, a baby bottle with teat and a chopper attachment for herbs and things. I've only ... Read the complete review

I would thoroughly recommend the Braun multi if you are making or intending to make baby food. Dont waste your money on the one that is especially designed for baby food made by other companies as they are too small and dont have numerous attachements. The Braun costs around £30 and has various attachments - whisk, blender, chopper - it is excellent and I have had mine over 3 years and are using it for my second baby. The blender, which comes with a special beaker, is ideal for making the fruit and veg puree in which is great for first weaning food. The chopper is ideal once baby reaches about 7mths and can start having lumper food - you can adjust ... Read the complete review

My husband has just bought me a Braun Multiquick System. I have only used it a couple of times up to now, but it is really good, it is three appliances in one, it blends, chops and whisks, it has different speed settings for different jobs. The hand blender liquidises, blends and purees, and the chopper attachment is good for nuts, herbs, onions, breadcrumbs, and meat. I used the chopper attachment the other day for my left over meat, and I found it brilliant it is so easy. It has a wall bracket so you can put it up on the wall without it taking up workspace. I find it excellent value for money. ... Read the complete review

I bought my multiquick when I was living in a flat and my kitchen wasn't big enough to keep a full size food processor/blender. This thing is fantastic, I've had it some 5 or 6 years, and it still gets used regularly. It's ideal for those bits that you don't want to have to do by hand (or don't have the time or strength to do!). I use all the attachments, the mini chopper, the whisk and the blender, although admittedly the whisk does get used the most, as it is so easy to just plug it in and give something a quick whisk, rather than having to do it by hand, which I have never been particularly good at. I would say for ... Read the complete review
