Breville Finesse

Wish I had not brought it now. keeps blowing fuse's about 11 times in 7 months, I think it is of poor design. The base is like a saucer and retains the water. We think when you fill it up the water goes down the back of the handle. we feel it is unsafe. It is a fast kettle which is a plus. But has it keeps blowing the fuse's. We get by but seriously thinking of scrapping it and buying another model. ...

The Breville Finesse I bought this kettle about two months ago. I was in dire need of a new one being an absolute tea addict, and using one of two dodgy kettles: one not only poured water in your mug but also all over the unit, the other made a sort of fizzing noise from the lead socket whenever it was switched on! A few things attracted me to this kettle. Firstly its size: it has a large 1.7 litre capacity; I can make up several baby bottles and still have enough for lots of cups of tea!
