... despite a couple of calls to them, and a letter written two weeks ago to the Managing Director, I have had no reponse whatever. You can ring the contact number during normal office hours and get a recorded message telling you that they are closed for the weekend, and when you do finally manage to get through, the person on the other end will promise to despatch your item right away, but they don't. They don't answer emails either, and they don't even attempt to contact you to explain what's going on. I will never buy...more

Premium Review Breville Food Processor: Shreds, juices, and grates - but not fingers! (938 words)
by - written on 26/03/05 (Very useful, 503 readings)

After being delighted with my Antony Worrall Thompson (AWT) breadmaker by Breville, my other half also bought me the AWT Breville food processor, and I was good and didn’t once moan about what a boring present a food processor is. (My mother was once given a toilet seat from my father, in all seriousness, so I am grateful for most things.) I haven’t grown up surrounded by kitchen gadgets, in fact the opposite. My mother still refuses to have anything to do with microwaves and dishwashers, and when my aunt asked where the mixer was on a recent visit, she was handed a wooden spoon. A little of it has rubbed off on me: I guess quantities in recipes, much to my ...  Read the complete review

I bought this little blighter with some of my dooyoo miles, so thanks guys :) I previously had to ask and cajol and whine to the boyfriend to grate the cheese every time I wanted to make my delicious enchilada sauce (as i have long fingernails and i'm too lazy, lol). After not eating our usual 'sunday roast' dinner (made with Quorn) for the past 4 weeks, I decided to buy a little gizmo that would do it immediately and without moaning! (just jesting?!) This isn't a bad little blender/mixer/grater/slicer! - It holds 2 litres of 'stuff', be it sliced carrot or grated cheese to the aforementioned enchilada sauce. The ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Breville Food Processor: IDEAL FOR CHOPPING UP BODY PARTS. (275 words)

I have just purchased an Antony Warrall Thompson Professional food processer by Breville. It is absolutely brilliant and you can do almost anything with it, the thing I like is the juice extracter. I use this quite often as I like to drink fresh orange juice, it is a lot easier than squeezing your own oranges. When you do vegetables, instead of having to cut them yourself, just put them in and all the work is done for you. I find it useful when my grand-daughter comes to stay, as I can just put a small amount of our meal into the blender and within a few minutes her meal is ready to give to her. It has a special storage compartments to ...  Read the complete review

I managed to drop and break the mixing bowl of my FP6, back in June. I contacted the 'Customer Services' dept. at Breville about a replacement and am still waiting - it's 26th August now. They kept my cheque for over a month before banking it, and despite a couple of calls to them, and a letter written two weeks ago to the Managing Director, I have had no reponse whatever.
