Advantages: Very good product

Disadvantages: Appalling after sales service

I managed to drop and break the mixing bowl of my FP6, back in June. I contacted the 'Customer Services' dept. at Breville about a replacement and am still waiting - it's 26th August now.
They kept my cheque for over a month before banking it, and despite a couple of calls to them, and a letter written two weeks ago to the Managing Director, I have had no reponse whatever.
You can ring the contact number during normal office hours and get a recorded message telling you that they are closed for the weekend, and when you do finally manage to get through, the person on the other end will promise to despatch your item right away, but they don't. They don't answer emails either, and they don't even attempt to contact you to explain what's going on.
I will never buy another product from them.

Summary: The impossibility of getting spares from Breville, or even a response from their Customer Services.
