I must admit, ive always been a girl to like a bargain and when i saw this little cookworks toaster looking at me with its puppydog eyes from inside Argos for the measly sum of £4 i had to buy it. Okay, it wasnt the puppydog eyes, but my long serving toaster had finally taken the long dirt nap after being bodyslammed by my dear other half after a lads night out, i needed a cheap and cheerful replacement. After looking at pages and pages of £50 toasters i really thought Argos had found their sense here. I mean, it toasts bread, how many features can you want! I nearly successfully killed my toaster by dropping a key ring accidentally into it the smell of burning plastic was awful, however I managed to remove it and despite pleas from my son that I was poisoning him I continued to use it. One week later my husband knocked it off the work unit and this time much to my sons delight it was terminal. So off I went to Argos in search of a new one. I went with an open mind; no special make only requirement was coolwall and preferably a two slice one so my old cover would fit. After moving into our new home we were making do with the grill to make toast , as we seemed to lose out toaster whilst moving . ‘How do you lose a toaster ?’ you ask we have no idea .
