 ... any issues. This tea maker is also a clock and alarm so you can set the alarm and the tea will be ready for you getting up. It also has a tea now facility which means she can have tea anytime. It says it is 600 watts which is quite low but it does make quite a lot of noise when it is boiling so we no longer use the alarm function as the buzzing is very loud and the boiling wakes her up. I purchased this for my mum as she is unable to get out of bed by herself anymore and thought this would give her a little independance as she would be able to make her own tea without having to get to the kitchen. I bought it from Argos at £49.99. I know it was quite expensive but thought it would be worth it to give my mum the ability to have a cup when ever she liked. I recently bought this tea maker for £24.98 in the Argos's Half Price Sale before Christmas. This item now retails at £49.99 from Argos. The Tea Maker is compact, can make up to four cups of tea and fits perfectly on the bedside. A ceramic tea pot is provided. To me, the instructions were a but confusing, and didn't explain everything. The LCD clock is analogue and is Illuminated in Green, with Black text used for the hours. Around the edge of the display, there are markers, which are used for setting the alarm, or making tea at a set time. In these two modes, the markers are divided into 12 minutes for each hour.
